Psychiatrist -Adult Mental Health PM3046
Pilkington medics has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist specialising in adult Psychiatry to join an experienced team allowing the successful applicant to enjoy, learn and bring their clinical expertise and knowledge to the team
You will be required to have excellent communication and work within the team providing the commitment to collaborate with clients, families, staff, and other services.
This teaching hospital provides a full range of service to over 40000 inpatients a year and treats over 20 000 day patients a year. The facility offers the community healthcare services from primary care through to specialist services across 15 hospitals.
The hospital is based in a large New Zealand city by NZ standards and it has strong links to the research and teaching of the Otago Medical School and both the Otago and Canterbury University. Outside work, this city offers an amazing coastline to discover while hiking, surfing or kayaking. Just over 2 hours to drive to uncrowned mountain for hiking or skiing or only 5 minutes from some of the newest and greatest coffee and bars in New Zealand.
